ePrompter - Email Notifier
Free Email Notification and Retrieval Programme
This is probably the best tip I can give you. Use an email notifier to read your emails. With this utility I am able to check my all email accounts and delete any spam in less than a minute. I am currently using a programme called ePrompter. ePrompter is an easy to use email notifier that automatically checks up to sixteen password protected email accounts. It allows you to compose, forward and reply to the messages that have been retrieved for you. Your forwards and replies will be sent back through the account that the messages were retrieved from. But please understand that while ePrompter can send messages, it is not meant to take the place of a full-featured email client - The people most likely to appreciate this programme are those using a dial up connection. As they are aware, when they log on to retrieve their messages, it's all or nothing. So, if in a list of 10 messages to be downloaded there are 6 from spammers, 2 legitimate emails, and 2 emails from over zealous friends that contain a lot of graphics and are 450Mb each, they are looking at a huge download. With ePrompter they are able to view all their mail, delete anything unwanted, then download the rest - which in the above case may be just 2 emails. They are also able to read the 2 legitimate emails, and if they don't wish to keep them, delete those also. Instead of downloading what could be over 900Mb of mail, they have performed their "email obligations" in just a fraction of the time. Rotating Tray Icon Once ePrompter is installed the Rotating Tray Icon sits in the taskbar and shows the number of new or unread messages in each individual account.  Main Menu Clicking the Tray Icon in the taskbar brings the main menu box onto your desktop.  Message Screen By clicking the account name you want to read it opens the primary message screen.  It only takes a second to click "Mark all as read" and 'X' all for Deletion to delete any spam.  This is how your messages look. Easy to read - easy to delete. All messages are read in text format making them safe from any Malware  Features
